“We’re on a mission to spread crochet fun and colour to our beautiful town. Come and join us anytime”
If you’ve wandered through Biddulph over the past year and spotted colourful postbox toppers, decorated bikes or even a few cheeky aliens — chances are you’ve seen the wonderful work of Biddulph Yarnbarns.
This talented and friendly local group has had an incredibly busy year, bringing creativity, colour and community spirit to the town in the most heart-warming ways.
Exciting things are already underway for the year ahead — and this one is set to be truly magical ✨
The Yarnbarns are currently working on this year’s town display, themed “Enchanted Woods.” And when they say big plans… they really mean it!
🧵 Expect to see:
🍄 Giant, colourful mushrooms
💦 Magical waterfalls
🧌 Mischievous trolls
🐉 Majestic dragons
It’s set to transform parts of Biddulph into a woodland fantasy scene that will capture imaginations of all ages.
The display will go live the week before their annual CATE event (Craft and Textile Event), which takes place on 27th June. Not only is this a fantastic celebration of creativity and textiles, but it also proudly opens this year’s Biddulph Festival — making it a huge date in the town’s calendar.
With imagination, teamwork and plenty of yarn involved, it’s safe to say Biddulph is in for something very special this summer 🌿🧶
